MAKING HAY ON NEW YEARS EVE

Our New Years Eve was spent raking and baling hay. We had five days of dry warm weather of which we took advantage of to cut and dry the hay.  Tonight we will be baling on into the new year of 2008 (!) and carting it all into the shed.  Due to drought conditions there wasn't allot of goodness in the hay this year but at least we can fill the shed and be ready to feed our stock when the paddocks become bare.  It will be much better than buying it!
